Decluttr Session - Store room
I had a 2 day session recently decluttering and organising a store room.Here are the before pictures:

As you can see there was quiet a lot of decluttering before we could organise the room. The main objects removed were the suitcases. Any with children's clothes inside them, were removed and organised for donating, keep sakes (the items that reminded the client of when her children were newborns, etc) and the clothes to be worn as and when the children reached that age.We also removed a lot of bric-bracs such as candles and old toiletries.Once we had decluttered we created storage boxes for the following items:a. Gift itemsb. snack foodc. Toys - separated into craft toys and board gamesd. Toiletries and perfumese. Candlesf. Gifts, decorations and trinketsh. craft boxBig bulky items such as kids strollers, boxes for vases, art work and framed pictures were stored at the top as they would not be required regularly.As part of the organising we put like items or similar items together such as candles, toiletries, perfumes and bakhour in one area; clothes stored together in one area; toys and craft items in one area and food items in one area.The session also included a reorgnisation of the children's hair accessories. The drawer which once had the accessories all thrown in are now in smaller boxes and jars based on their colour or item.The wardrobe drawers were also decluttered and organised ensuring all the medicines and accessories are now stored together on one shelf and toiletries are stored on another shelf rather than in various wardrobes.

Great session with a rewarding ending. Everything is now in a sensible, organised manner, which will make it easy for the client and the household to access items when required.We can do the same for your home or office.
