What She Needed Was An Organiser, What She Wanted To Pay For Was A Cleaner. 🤦🏽‍♀️

So I recently had someone contact me and ask:

“How are your services different from Just Life, Service Market, or Careem Cleaning?”

I laughed a little 😅 because my first thought was, oh she thinks I’m a cleaning company.

Very rare, because my SEO usually filters that out.

But then it clicked 💡

These portals are now advertising decluttering and organising, and that’s where the confusion starts.

They send in maids at around 35 AED an hour. Maybe a bit more for “organising”, but that is NOT the same as hiring a professional organiser.

I asked for photos and videos. One look and I knew 👀

She didn’t need a cleaner.

She needed an organiser.

Clutter everywhere.

Things in the wrong cupboards.

Drawers that made no sense.

Those plastic jars with yellow lids 😬

She wanted a full reset.

This wasn’t a wipe down job.

It was a 4 hour professional organising session.

I explained my process, my pricing, and why I work the way I do.

Her reply?

“That’s not what I’m looking for.”

And that was okay 🤍

Because here’s the truth.

What she wanted was an organiser.

What she wanted to pay for was a cleaner.

Those two things are not the same.

Organisers don’t get overwhelmed by clutter. We see zones, systems, flow, and function 🧠

This is a profession. Learned, practised, and valued.

My honest advice.

Hire an organiser if you can.

Save up if you can’t yet.

Use cleaners for cleaning.

Do not expect organiser results at cleaning rates.

Help is available. You just need to know who to ask ✨
