How I Reorganised my Bathroom Cupboard

A few years ago I organised this cupboard using baskets and IKEA drawers, and it worked brilliantly… until the drawers started sticking and the baskets made all the overflow visible. Eventually, I couldn't stand looking at it any longer, so it was time for a refresh.

I emptied everything section by section, threw away anything that had expired, and recategorised the contents. Medicines were organised into cold and flu, antihistamines, pain relief, migraine, creams and general remedies, plasters and antiseptics, plus dedicated women's health and dental sections. Toiletries were divided into travel items and overstock for face and hands, body and hair, with an additional shelf for spare make-up and hair accessories. Everything was then stored in these drawers and finished with my signature gold and black labels, because no organising project is ever truly complete until it's labelled.

The storage boxes cost around AED 350 (approximately £70). Organising products are an investment, especially when buying in bulk. You can choose a uniform look and invest in matching storage, or simply make the best use of what you already have. Either approach can create a beautifully organised space. I love how it looks now, and I love that my drawers actually open without jamming. Want these boxes? Comment bathroom boxes and your location and I will send the link.
