Every once in awhile, we get this urge to change our surroundings. Whether it be due to a move, inappropriate furniture or just sheer boredom of the same old life - we all have our reasons to declutter and organise our lives.

I had been bored of two specific pieces of furniture for over a year - two Kallax bookshelves in my lounge and one Billy Bookcase, which was used to store my undergarments, accessories and jewellery. I had been needing to change for ages but had procrastinated (yes even organisers procrastinate sometimes).

So last month, the moment came for me to sell the old furniture, buy new furniture, declutter my stuff and organise what was left. In my new podcast, I discuss how I changed from the old to the new using the principles or decluttering and organising I have discussed on previous podcasts.

Here are a few pictures of my transformation from old white furniture to new furniture and how the stuff was organised (the cookery books were put in the kitchen).
